Over a 25 year career, I’ve held positions ranging from production artist, art director, copywriter, creative director, head of digital and business development – even founder & CEO.
My obsession ever since starting in the business was not just to master one craft, but understand all of them. This curiosity has led me to be the first person at a major agency to create web banners for a client, found one of the first social networks, be the first person in the agency to use many new tools including things that are common now like Facebook ads and native advertising.
Since agencies tend to need specialized talent these days, I’m not interested in returning to one full time. But agencies in the five to seventy-five employee range tend to find my versatility useful. Like other agencies, you’ll bring me in for one specific thing and a few months later I’m doing 20 things and founded a whole new department. Give me a shot sometime.
